Where can you find activities for Easter celebrations in Bucks County or Montgomery County?
Easter Bunny Express
Hop on board the train in both Bucks and Montgomery County and enjoy the views and holiday treats inside the cabins. The vintage train cars will be on the tracks of the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad in Bucks County, and the Colebrookdale Railroad in Montgomery County. The Easter Bunny will be on board, and you can take advantage of photo opportunities, as well as an egg hunt. There’s no better way to take in the countryside and enjoy a unique train ride.
Annual Easter Egg Hunts
In many towns and neighborhoods throughout these counties, your kids can take part in the entertaining egg hunts. Many eggs contain more than candy as plenty of prizes will be awarded at these annual events. Some communities provide a twist with their egg hunts. Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve hosts a flashlight egg hunt after decorating Easter baskets. BounceU of Langhorne is incorporating their bouncing into the egg hunt. The Norristown Farm Park is including ecological clues where the prizes will be found in the woods and fields around the property. Kids Workshop at Pennypacker Mills
Head to Pennypacker Mills in Schwenksville, PA for a day of arts and crafts with the kids. The workshop has a spring theme, incorporating Easter decorations into the class. Kids will create an Easter card with beautiful colorful decorations.
